I finally made it to Barcelona! The short train ride there was along the turquoise sea making it a spectacular view. I went with another au pair from the good ol’ USA who also happens to be working here in Mataró for part of the summer. The city was bustling with energy. There were so many noises, smells, and people from all walks. We poked around some shops because I obviously had to look at Spanish made shoes before heading up to La Sagrada Família. We planned on exploring the inside another day where we had more time to enjoy it. Tuesday was really just to browse around and get the feel of the city. We had the same idea for Park Güell.
So for now here are some snaps of the beautiful city and the outside of these historic landmarks!
The whole time I was walking around I asked myself is this real life? Last week I was in Albany, New York City, London, and now Barcelona! I feel like I’ve been living in a dream

How could you live in Albany after being here! On the other hand, you better come back! Great pics!
