Montseny

Friday evening we enjoyed some tapas at one of the local pubs I used to frequent over the summer with the family and NEREA & friends (There, I mentioned you). It was an early night in preparation for heading to the mountains the next morning.

It was a beautiful weekend to spend in Montseny. It stayed mostly sunny and warm the entire time. I mostly soaked up the sun and read Game of Thrones. I’m a huge fan of the TV series, so I decided to finally give the books a try as well. They do not disappoint!

Ona and I also spent some time working on our hand stands and cartwheels. We did go for a little walk, but forwent any major hikes. I think aside from the handstands, the most physical activity I did was play badminton with Adria, but hey, sunbathing burns calories too, right?

Sunday was another lazy day full of sun, food, reading, and making daisy chains. The pool was freezing, but both of us jumped in once and then I quickly scuttled out to lay in the sun. Ona was braver and swam around. Even though we stayed over just a night, it was still really relaxing and nice to be surrounded by such beauty. I am so happy that Alex and Ingrid included me once again in their camping trip.

The campsite is really nice. It has a few homes on the property, two pools, and a little building (below) with a bar in it. Though it’s not the most traditional or rugged way to camp, but I’m not complaining!

Like most days in Spain, the weekend was full of food, talking, and more food! And that was ideal for me.
