This is going to be a short post. I know I’ve been MIA for a bit, but I’ve been packing, finishing up a bunch of different projects, and spending time with Kurtis. Tomorrow I will wake up bright and early to catch a flight to Pisa. I’m going to au pair for my second summer, but in a new country–Italy!

Italy is up with Spain as one of my favorite countries. I took a few trips there last summer, and I’m looking forward to experience living in this beautiful country. I will only be there for a month and a half, but I can already tell it will be an amazing time.

I’ve been a little bit nervous because the family that I was with last summer was so awesome that I couldn’t imagine au pairing again. Mainly because I didn’t think another family could be as generous, loving, and all-around wonderful. I believe that I made a good choice with this new family and I can’t wait to meet them.

I’ll try to update this more now that I’m onto a new adventure, so stick around and I’ll be back next week probably after going into a pasta coma.
